    About Me

    Hi, I’m Dean, Director of a private practice called Personal Edge Consultancy.

    I have been a registered nurse for over 36 years, with extensive experience in paediatric nursing, nurse education, and nurse management. During this time, I have had the privilege of teaching more than 600 nursing students across two states in both diploma and bachelor programs.

    I have worked across public and private healthcare settings, as well as within not-for-profit and for-profit organisations. This diverse experience has given me valuable insight into relationship management, organisational change, and accreditation processes.

    My journey has always been about growth, both personally and professionally. Since 2006, I have been immersed in the world of personal development, learning from some of the most inspiring coaches, leaders, and mentors in the field.

    Today, as a certified coach and facilitator, I have delivered over 14,000 hours of one-to-one coaching and designed and delivered customised training programs for more than 5,000 healthcare professionals across Australia. My workshops focus on leadership, emotional intelligence, communication, workplace culture, grief and loss, mental health, and stress management.

    I now host Wellness Retreats, bringing together experts in the fields of wellness, human performance, positive psychology, and ancient philosophy. The Wellness Retreat Series provides people with the knowledge, tools, techniques, and practices to become the best and most well version of themselves.
